What makes International Radio Broadcasters great?

Different things matter to different listeners. Not all of the criteria listed underneath matter to me, and I may have forgotten to list some that do matter.
What matters to you? What makes a radio station great for you?

• A good balance in coverage of politics and daily life?

• Culture coverage?

• Focus on the audience? Responsive to suggestions?

• Good use of language?

• QSL cards and souvenirs?

• Music? Which kind of?

• online availability?

• Signal quality?
